Cheddar Herb Beer Bread


  • 2 ¾ cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp each oregano, thyme & dill
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 355ml beer (your favourite craft variety)
  1. Add wood and get your oven brothers oven up to 375f 
  2. Put all dry ingredients and cheese in a large bowl and mix to combine 
  3. Add beer (the different kinds of beer can change the taste a bit – for example, an ipa will taste different than a blonde)
  4. Stir everything together with a wooden spoon until everything is combined
  5. Empty the dough into a loaf pan and smooth the top to make it even 
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes
  7. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool on a wire rack 8 can be served with melted butter on top. Feel free to change up the spices used, or even add jalapenos!
