INGREDIENTS
- 2 ¾ cups all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp each oregano, thyme & dill
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 355ml beer (your favourite craft variety)
- Add wood and get your oven brothers oven up to 375f
- Put all dry ingredients and cheese in a large bowl and mix to combine
- Add beer (the different kinds of beer can change the taste a bit – for example, an ipa will taste different than a blonde)
- Stir everything together with a wooden spoon until everything is combined
- Empty the dough into a loaf pan and smooth the top to make it even
- Bake for 45-50 minutes
- Remove and let stand for 5 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool on a wire rack 8 can be served with melted butter on top. Feel free to change up the spices used, or even add jalapenos!
